STEP 1 :

Right Click on Connection Pool > Import Metadata.

STEP 2:

Select Tables,Keys,Foreign Keys and NEXT.

STEP 3:

Import the highlighted Tables into BISAMPLE.

The imported tables will appear under BISAMPLE as shown in the below screen shot.

Select Tools > Update All Row Counts.

Rows will be updates automatically.

Put the cursor on the table name,the updated count will appear as show in the below screen shot.

Right click on any table > View Data…

The table data can be viewed.

Right click on any table > New Object > Alias…

Create Alias as shown in below screen shot.

Create Alias for all the 3 imported tables as shown in below screen shot.

Right Click on the imported tables > Physical Diagram > Selected Objects Only.

Join D52 Sales Rep Position to D50 Sales Rep as per the below screen shot.

Create BMM Layer : Right Click on Sample Sales > New Object > Logical Table…

Name the Logical Table as D5 Sales Rep.

Drag rows from D50 Sales Rep(Physical Layer) to D5 Sales Rep(BMM Layer).

Right Click D50 Sales Rep > Rename.

> Rename as LTS1 Sales Rep                                                                                                                                      

> Drag rows from D52 Sales Rep Position to D5 Sales Rep.

Drag DISTANCE from D51 Sales Rep Parent Child to D5 Sales Rep.

Rename DISTANCE to Closure Distance.

Select D5 Sales Rep & F1 Revenue > Right Click > Business Model Diagram > Selected Tables Only.

Join F1 Revenue to D5 Sales Rep.

Right Click D5 Sales Rep > Create Logical Dimension > Dimension with Parent-Child Hierarchy

Enter in the Name box H5 Sales Rep & Click on Browse… as shown in the below screen shot.

Confirm Sales rep Number is selected for D50 Sales Rep_key.

Select Browse for Parent Column,rename it as D5 Sales RepDim.

> The Browse window shows the columns other than the member key.

> Deselect Show Qualified Name.

Select Manager Number as the parent column for the parent-child hierarchy.

Click on Parent-Child Settings…

Select Parent-Child Relationship Table button.

Select the D51 Sales Rep Parent Child.

In the Parent-Child Relationship Column Details set the columns as per below screen shot :

Expand H5 Sales Rep.

Delete all columns from the Detail level except for Sales Rep Number & Sales Rep Name.

Step 30 :

Create a new key named Display Key,map it to Sales Rep Name & click on User for Display(follow the below screen shot).

Select F1 Revenue > Sources > LTS1 Revenue & follow the below screen shot > OK.

Drag D5 Sales Rep from BMM to Presentation Layer under Sample Sales.

Rename D5 Sales Rep to Sales Rep.

Rearrange the Seqence as per below screen shot.

Double Click on H5 Sales Rep > Display Columns,confirm that Sales Rep Name is there.

File > Save > Check Global Consistency.

Fix if any errors or warnings before proceeding.
